Vanessa came to Enos with a very unusual project in Westchester County north of New York City. She was in the process of converting a ninety-nine year old carriage house into a compound for her expanding family. The original building was situated on five acres of very private land that overlooked a pond frequented by lots of local and migrating birds. The original building was a stone structure with an original fireplace. Enos incorporated the original structure and added a substantial new wing with a second floor for children’s rooms and baths, and a very large exercise area overlooking the pond. The exterior was re-landscaped to include an Olympic-size pool, and extensive lounging area.
